    • Jonathan Togo began acting early, when he won the role of a Lollipop Kid in a community production of The Wizard of Oz. He kept at it, but didn't consider it as a career until he did an Equity stage play at 13.

  • Quotes

    • Jonathan Togo: The odds are so against you... They make like 50 pilots. Of the 50 there are parts for you in 20, and of those 20 there are 1000 guys auditioning for those 20 parts and 10 of them go to names, and of those pilots five go to air and one survives past the first year. So to get on a show as good and as successful as CSI: Miami, to be part of the franchise, is astonishing. I feel extremely lucky.

    • Jonathan Togo: People say when the right job for you comes you'll know it. All indications point to this one as the one.

    • Jonathan Togo: (talking about his apprehension of dead bodies or things in general) It made me nauseous. Now that I'm faced with it, the idea of actually seeing a dead body is daunting.

    • Jonathan Togo: Music is a hobby and a stress reliever but it was never a really serious endeavor for me like acting was.

    • Jonathan Togo: (talking of his first regular part on Special Unit 2) A lot of my friends went to grad school; I did Special Unit 2. I learned the method by which to memorize the jargon and get on set and sell that sort of dialogue.

    • Jonathan Togo: (when he first arrived replacing Tim Speedle's character) It's difficult. Being the new guy on a show is sort of like going to someone else's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Or it's like being a foreign exchange student. You live in the house, you're part of the family, but you're not really part of the family.

    • Jonathan Togo: (telling how he first discover CSI) Here's the funny thing-my girlfriend is obsessed with all of the CSIs. So I started watching and started getting into it. So to be a fan of it and then to be on it is a quick, really crazy jump.

    • Jonathan Togo: (talking about his CSI:Miami part) I said to the writers, so who is he, who is Ryan Wolfe? One of the writers sort of looked at me and said, "It's you. You're the guy. We're building it on you." I sat down with the writers, they got my sense of humor, they heard me tell some bad jokes and they started writing a character. So Ryan Wolfe is based on me.

    • Jonathan Togo: (about the chemistry on the set of CSI: Miami) Pretty great. I liked all of the actors immediately. We're sort of like a football team. David Caruso is quarterback, Emily is the wide receiver, Adam the linebacker, Khandi Alexander is the running back and I'm the punter. Oh... And Rex Linn is the cheerleader, complete with pom poms.

I am of Spain and here still the seventh season has not been emitted in the tv and I cannot wait any more to see her. My favorite character undoubtedly is Ryan Wolfe, I am charmed with seeing it. He is very handsome, very sexy, I believe that he is a great actor, he has everything. Also I liked Tim Speedle, so I hope that Ryan does not receive a shot as Speed, more than anything because the show would lose Mr. Wolfe and for me it yes would be a crime. CSI Miami is one of my favorite shows, every season is better. I hope that the show is still like that of brilliant for many years.moreless
