Jane is excited to teach at Stanford law but things become a complicated when one of Prof. Daily's student is charged with harming the child and Jane and Grayson to defend the student and find out that they will be going up against the professor. Grayson and Jane team up to figure out exactly what went wrong when an oil rig injured an employee, but they run into a big problem representing both sides. Jane has to determine whether the widow can receive any money to compensate her for the loved one who died. Meanwhile Jane in is busy getting ready for her wedding but she has a problem finding out exactly where Owen is. Jane wonders if Owen suddenly got cold feet. Jane gets herself in a lot of trouble when she tries to help a lady out of an arranged marriage and seek asylum for the lady, Jane finds this case very difficult to fight on many levels because she has to prove the bride was forced into marriage. Kim and Parker try to help a teacher of the Eric's keep this job despite some on campus issues that have come to light. Jane takes on the case of a woman who appeared on Ugly Duckling and makes the producer realize he made a mistake. Grayson arbitrate the case of two women and one who believes that her husband is reincarnated into a rat and the other lady just wants something back. Stacy opens a pakery, Grayson and Owen get to see who can play a good game of basketball.
