Josh: (after falling ill on the set of The Black Dahlia) I was kind of anaemic because I wasn't eating very much and I was working out all the time. So I went to the doctors to see what he could do. He said to me, 'Do you eat meat?' When I said no, he told me, 'You need to eat meat.' So that was kind of it!

Josh: I've had glandular fever… Don't you get it by kissing too many people?
-
Josh: You know what? I'm really attracted to British women, there's something innately proper about them. However badly they behave their accent is so cute that it makes up for everything.
-
Josh: (asked what food is sexy to him) Pizza and beer. I'm kidding! Sushi--I don't know why, but it's sexy though.

Josh:
(on Paris Hilton claiming he talked trash about her) [Laughs] Am I talking about
Paris Hilton? I never said anything about
Paris Hilton, I'm sure. I'm not going to get into a dumb-ass battle with her. I don't really have any connection with the kind of party world of Hollywood. That's just so weird. Where did that come from? I'm the furthest thing from that world, it's unbelievable! I don't really participate in the Hollywood running around.

Josh:
(on shenanigans with the towel among the Lucky Number Slevin crew) Morgan [Freeman] tried to take it off me a couple of times.
Lucy [Liu] was very well behaved.
[Laughs]
-
Josh: (On how the movie Lucky Number Slevin was pitched to him) They rang and said, "We're going to put you in a towel for the first part of the movie." My initial reaction was, "You're f**king with me!" Then when I read it in context it was perfect.
-
Josh: (on how long he only wore a towel for while filming Lucky Number Slevin) I think it was probably about 20 days. We shot for 10 weeks, it was probably a 20-minute portion of the film, so yeah, it was probably 20 days, something like that. Yeah, I'm only wearing a towel and it seems like a big thing but when you're on set you've just got to give yourself over to the character. It was a funny idea.
-
Josh: I'm very 'spur of the moment' I'm always trying to think of fun things to do to create a memory.
-
Josh: Be honest with yourself and lie to everyone else.
