If you think your potential quote submission is more interesting and/or more up-to-date, PM me first before replacing any existing quote on the guide. … More I've transferred some of the excess quotes from the Quotes Section of the guide. Please feel free to add on quotes to this thread. Josh : (on his wife Yessica reading his scripts on " Lost ") She always grabs the script from me and locks the bathroom door and reads it because we're still that intrigued with it. It still wows us. Josh : (referring to the tourists in Hawaii) There the men go, 'Love your work, bro,' and that's about it. I like that. Where tourists, they've already got the camera out, like, 'Hey!'" Josh : (on " Lost " co-star Evangeline Lilly ) Our friendship is deep. We've been working together constantly and having to discuss these things and how we're going to do them, so it's good. Josh : (referring to Sawyer's relationship with Kate on " Lost ") It's been fun because neither of us really know where it's going, so we don't know exactly what to fully invest in which actually plays on camera. It's nice kind of not knowing. One minute we're really kind of close and sappy and the next minute like, 'What the?' It's that thing. Josh : (referring to Sawyer, his character on " Lost ") I get the script, and I'm like, 'Oh, no, he's even worse. Oh, no.' You want him to be better, right? I want him to be redeemed, and it's just not the nature of the character. Josh : (referring to " Lost ") I don't want to go anywhere. I'm loving what's going on with the show and we live here now and we're settled in. Josh : (on portraying his character on " Lost ") The first year, I was a lot more nervous to start with. I was trying to understand the character and figure out a way to find his humanity while keeping him hard, but really working that line the first year. The second year I really felt comfortable in his skin, and then it became a challenge of I'd never been in the position of slowly deteriorating health, so that was a large part of last year. Josh : (on his role in the movie, "Whisper") I chose that role because it was the opposite . The character I play is a bad person with a good heart and I thought it would be interesting to play a more heroic character. Josh : (on his character on " Lost ") I don't even want Sawyer to lose his edge. Edge and a tiny inkling of humanity. Josh : I've been a fan of Adewale 's for a while. I followed him on Oz , loved him in that, and I couldn't wait to meet the guy. And the first time I met him... he smacks me in the face with a stick--that's our introduction! Josh : That's why I make the money and my wife does all the paperwork. Details! I'm not the details guy. Josh : Sometimes, I like to come out by myself, turn the boat off and just chill. How big Lost has gotten, it freaks me out sometimes. I gotta get away. Josh : When Lost took off, part of me thought, 'Do I cut and run?' I still like to look around, but respectfully and with no intentions. 'Married, not buried', I always say. If I were single?... Damn, I'd have one girl doing my laundry, one shaving me, one bringing me a cocktail and another one coming out of my tent all hung over. Josh : (on his baby, Java Kumala) It's just those smiles every morning... When I first get to see the little bean smile. I'm like, 'Oh my God.' It just makes my heart explode.

Lost was crazy great sexy loony mad but above all fantastic I really miss it especially Sawyer aka Josh Hollaway what a hunk. I loved the episodes where Sawyer showed his softer side like when he use to look out for Hurly. His quick wit was very amusing at times making up different names for the other characters that fitted the situation or the mood that they were in some very funny moments at times and Josh played it brilliantly.
I also loved the fact that he liked to read books showing another side to him that he was not at all stupid.
Even for not having many parts in acting until lost, he still did a great job, even in the first season! His acting has been getting increasingly better for the 6 seasons lost has been on the air, and he will hopefully be in many other parts after lost ends. He does a great job in anything, but especially sarcasm and turning the tables on people. The show has shown how he can basically play any part, whether as a sarcastic conman, cop, or someone in an authority position (like in Dharmaville). He has been a great actor since day one, but isn't at a standstill!
I was impressed by his acting skills in season one of Lost. He was capable of playing his role comfortably. The strong, angry bad boy who is in love with Kate. In season two he moved steadily with his role. Season three his acting didn't change. He was always the angry bad boy inlove and then came season four and still all Sawyer could do was shout and fight and save a girl now and then. I hate how his character did not develop over the first three seasons. I don't know whether to blame the writers or him. But since the writers have provided many clever storylines which kept me hooked, I'll blame him. All the other acotrs developed their characters on the show. Mathew Fox was able to change Jack from this strong man into this terrified freak with a beard who needs to persuade everyone to go back to the island. I think we can all safely say Evangeline Lilly has shown us some good acting. Josh is the only one on the show who hasn't really expanded his horizons. He has always been subtle. I think he has the talent to become better and I love his outer image but he needs to add to his acting skills.
He acts the character James Ford superbly. He acts marvelously. This is a character that will be hard to forget. However, like many great actors, I feel that he can only truly dominate on one type of character. That never really should be a issue though, because if you are likely to hire him, you would use him as the bad boy, because that is what he does great. All in all, I am very pleased that he found his way to television, and into a gem of a show like Lost, so everyone will know his name. Keep it up Josh!
