On July 4, 2009 at 4:30 PM PDT in El Segundo, California, Joyce was arrested for suspicion of DUI, after field sobriety tests confirmed. Police Sgt. Dean Howard told E! that "an officer saw DeWitt drive a vehicle past a barricade intended to control vehicular traffic near a park. As the officer spoke with DeWitt, he observed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication."

Jenny was like Janet except more sarcastic and much more sex-starved. Jenny was funny but it was Joyce DeWitt who perfected the role in the series second pilot pitch.
