Julia Zemiro




Julia was born in Aix-en Provence, France in 1967. Her family immigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1970.

In 1993, she graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts and commenced at national tour with Actors at Work for the Bell Shakespeare Company. During this time, Julia was also a frequent guest on ABC's Good News Week and completed 2 seasons with sketch comedy show Totally Full Frontal where she wrote and played over 30 characters.

Julia has featured in a number of comedy ventures in recent years, including Eurobeat – The Eurovision Musical and Spontaneous Broadway at the Spiegletent during the Melbourne International Arts Festival in 2005.

Her television hosting duties are varied and include The Great BBQ Challenge, Song for the Socceroos, hit SBS music show RocKwiz and What a Year with Bert Newton.

Julia also stars in Thank God You're Here on regular occasions, and can be heard on The Jonathan Coleman Experience on the Australian Radio Network.
