Biography

Born on June 1, 1976 and has a identical twin sister Shawnie Costello. Shawnie and Julie grew up with horses, cows, dogs and cats and went to school in a little town called Liberty. Their two brothers got them into sports so they owed it all to them when Lindsey Wilson College called out to them. They drove the lane together as fellow "Lady Raiders" on the women's basketball team. The urge to wander caught up with Shawnie three and a half years into school when she took off to Myrtle Beach, SC.

Seven months later, Shawnie left Myrtle Beach for Manhattan Beach, CA hungry for a change of scenery while Julie joined the golf team at Lindsey for a semester. As soon as Julie graduated, she followed her there after Shawnie learned the ropes about modeling and acting. Two weeks later, their big break came when Levi's was looking for hot twins for an international ad spot. They booked it off of Shawnie's headshot and a proof sheet of pictures of the two girls together.

Recently, The Costello Twins have appeared on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "The Drew Carey Show", MTV's "Say What Karokee", and Pauly Shore's new independent film, "You'll Never Weiz in This Town Again." Currently the Twins can be seen on Comedy Central's "The Man Show." FHM magazine did a hot piece on the Twins called "TV's Hottest Babes", and the girls also host an internet show "Extreme Essentials" on thethreshold.com.

When the Twins are not auditioning, Shawnie and Julie like to play volleyball, golf, paddle tennis, basketball, rollerblade and walk their two Jack Russell Terrier dogs (which look like twins too!). They even appeared in a few celebrity golf tournaments as well. The Twins have the same interests, like the same food, and have the same taste in men-handsome, outgoing, funny, and athleticism is a must.

Julie and her identical twin sister Shawnie who at the time was using the name Chandra Costello both competed in the very first $250,000 WWE Raw Diva Search in 2004. Julie was the first person voted off finishing in 10th place and her sister finished in 8th place.
