Junichi Kanemaru

He is a great actor IMO and made Sonic emmotional, like he made him happy, sad, angry etc. unlike Jason Griffith, who sounds the same on every line, so you couldn't tell if he was sarcastic or not. However, Junichi was excellent! I adore the Japanese Sonic X and I thought that if Sonic X ever has a season 4, this guy should take over from Jason Griffith if not Ryan Drummond. He may sound a bit cheesy when he speaks in English as Sonic, but he is Japanese and I actually find it funny when he says the lines.



He is a superb voice actor who is second only to the all-time great man Ryan Drummond!

You gotta love this guy for voicing Sonic in japan. They really chose the best actor for Sonic in the japanese version of the games and Sonic X. Junichi is one of the best voice actors ever, he lives up to Sonic's past-english voice actor, Ryan Drummond. And he does WAY much better than Jason Griffith. Junichi gave Sonic a lot of personality in his voice. Sonic in the japanese games and Sonic X, had a much better voice. His voice sounded VERY confident, and always ready for action, it had the right tone, and I like the way he sounded when he first introduced himself to Chris.



"I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog!"



That quote was much better as Junichi voicing it, and he does a superb job. He is the OFIICIAL voice for Sonic in the japanese games, and Ryan Drummond is the OFFICIAL voice for Sonic in the english games. I'm giving Junichi Kanemaru a 10/10! Forget that, 999/10!!!
