Gender:

Born:
9-6-1974
Birthplace:

Birth Name:
Justin Whalin
Justin started his career at the age of 11, because he had a crush on a girl. Only three years later he got a role in The Dead Pool starring Clint Eastwood. From that point on he mostly starred in TV productions. In 1994, he hit big with the role of Jimmy Olsen in Lois And Clark, a part Michael Landes had before him. Justin was on the show from the 2nd to the 4th (and last) season, when the show ended.

After the end of Lois And Clark, Justin has gotten more movie roles, but he has also done a couple of TV productions as well.

More One of Justin's most controversial movies is Child's Play 3, as it was blamed by the media for causing two young boys to murder a two-year-old in England. Although there was absolutely no evidence to suggest that either boy had ever seen that particular film.

    The Jimmy Olsen. hide show

Justin Whalin is most widely known for his role as Jimmy Olsen from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1994-1997. He had to prove critics wrong when Justin took over the part of Jimmy from Michael Landes in seasons 2 to 4. Many fans of the show were annoyed and put off when Justin was replaced by Michael, however, as time progressed, originally put-off fans became used to Justin and appreciated him in the role of Jimmy Olsen.
Justin played Jimmy with a sense of youth, humour and naivety. One particularly memorable moment I remember his great acting ability from in Lois & Clark, was in a scene where he was hypnotised and was made to think that he was in high school and had just returned from the summer holidays. He said hello to his classmates and then was told by the magician that he was naked. This scene was hilarious and it was a show case for Justin's talant. He plays this so well that it's almost hard to imagine that he was just acting and wasn't in a trance. He was a real member of the Daily Planet for me and will go down in history as Jimmy Olsen.
