This show really needed someone who wasn't biased and judged fairly based on TALENT. She does just that, and always tells it like it is, without being too harsh. She's the perfect combination of the positive qualities of Paula Abdul and the good qualities of Simon Cowell. Besides the fact that Kara is just what this show needed, she also brings a little something extra to the snow. Her critiques are short and sweet. Her advice is direct and knowledgeable and she has a certain star quality about her that makes me wonder why she is so under appreciated. I wasn't so sure about Idol adding a judge to it's panel. Now I can't imagine the snow without her.
