    • Karri Turner: I wouldn't trade growing up poor in Arkansas for anything. I had secondhand Barbies that were missing arms and legs and G.I. Joes with no feet. Barbie's car was fashioned from a shoe box. We didn't have a lot of things - If you wanted it you had to create it.
    • Karri Turner: The one thing I can cook is fried food - although you can't be on TV and eat this fried stuff all the time. When I was growing up, if it wasn't fried, it wasn't going in my mouth.
