Kate Isitt is a British actress best known for her role as beautician Sally Harper in the BBC television situation comedy, Coupling (Hartswood, 2000-2004).

Kate Isitt had her first encounter with Ben Miles, to whose character Sally became later attached in Coupling on set of the second series of ITV's comedy Is It Legal? (Hartswood, 1995-1998).In the

… More series Isitt played the part of Alison, the sexy and rather chic secretary in a solicitor's office.

Isitt had a minor part in the film The Saint (1997), which starred Val Kilmer as Simon Templar. In 1998 she appeared in an episode of the BBC TV mystery series, Jonathan Creek, and in a pilot episode of the BBC comedy, A Many Splintered Thing (of which a series was made in 2000, by which time Isitt had joined the cast of Coupling ).

Isitt is married to Nigel Cole, the director of the ITV series Cold Feet and has one child.

    Great in Coupling. hide show

    She's simply the best of Coupling. I haven’t seen her in any other show, but I absolutely love her performances in it. Most of all I liked the dancing and singing skills she uncovered in the 3rd episode in the 4th season “Bed Time”.

    (Singing) I'm Susan the happy trotting elf! I trot and trot and bounce and bounce and smile a lot and that's what counts! I'm Susan the happy trotting smile a lotting elf! I'm polite so just for clarity, when I'm cross I say "Apparently!"

    In that moment she earned my devotion for ever and ever.
    I don't know, but I get the feeling she'd be good in movies too. Maybe I should watch Half Light (2006) just to see what she's like.

    Anyway, she's a great entertainment person!
