    • Katee Sackhoff: I was addicted to the original Star Trek when I was growing up, because of my dad. We grew up in St. Helen, Oregon and we weren't allowed to watch a lot of TV. I don't think we even had more than three channels, so it was basically watch Dynasty with my mom, watch Star Trek with my dad, or watch the mating rituals of beavers on OPB [Oregon Public Broadcasting]. So my brother and I watched Star Trek
    • Katee Sackhoff: I get some very nice fan letters. Someone actually sent one to my parents, with another letter inside for me. Kinda weird.
    • Katee Sackhoff: (speaking about Dirk Benedict) If Dirk pitched up to work on the show I'd probably quit. I met him in Los Angeles and I thought we'd really hit it off. He was a great guy, he was very complimentary and very un-Hollywood. Then he turned around a month later and talked complete crap about the show and the actors on it. He wrote an article saying the network sold out and my character was more brash than his character. I felt like he'd stabbed me in the back.
