Katharine Isabelle

Katharine Isabelle is a talented and versitile actress with many movie roles under her belt inclusing the title character Ginger in the"Ginger Snaps" trilogy. (A must see for any werewolf movie fan)

Katie, as she is known to her fans, has been acting since childhhood and virtually grown up in the business. Some of her TV credits include, The X-Files, Stargate SG1, Psyche, and Sanctuary just to name a few. She can be seen in movies such as "Insomnia", "Freddy vs Jason", "Another Cinderella Story" (alongside her Ginger Snaps costar Emily Perkins), and the remake of "Carrie". She has done many Canadian films as she hails from Vancouver B.C. All are worth watching.

Katie was recently greeting fans and signing autographs at MonsterMania 13, a monster movie convention held at The Crown Plaza in Cherry Hill, N.J. August 21-23 2009. Katie was so warm and sweet, talking with her fan as if they were personal guests in her own home. This beautiful actress has a very successful future in store for her. She has been in all types of movies from Drama to Comedy to Horror. If you want to see Katharine Isabelle in top form you should watch either Ginger Snaps, or if you are not into horror, you should definitely watch The Last Casino! She also is in some very serious movies such as Falling Angels, On the Corner and Show Me. She has also performed on stage in the performance entitled This I Our Youth. Also on her list of performances are appearances on Television episodes of programs such as Smallville, Supernatural, and most recently Psych. She also gave a somewhat comedic performance (ala "Buffy") in the TV movie Ogre on the Sci-Fi channel.

I loved her in all 3 Ginger Snaps movies, especially the first. She played her character so well, and she instantly became my favorite actress after I seen that movie. I'm sure if more people around the world would have seen Ginger Snaps 1 ,she would be a much bigger star. I also admire the fact the she sticks to her beliefs. Its a shame she doesn't have bigger and better roles, because in every movie I have seen her in she's been incredible. But she still has time to become more famous and get more roles, which I'm hoping she does.
