Katherine: (about her adopted daughter Naleigh) She was actually born the day before me in November [2008], which I thought was really serendipidous, and just kind of like a sign, and then I realized just recently that I basically just forfeited my birthday for the rest of my life, which is not cool.

Katherine: (about her husband Josh Kelley) We had never lived together before we got married. I was sort of desperately clinging to my independence, just for a little longer. I'm kind of obnoxious about how I like to live. I am very specific about how I like things, where I like things, and, uh, then we started living together because we had to. And it's the little things. It's just the little things, but they can drive you bananas.

Katherine: (on previously criticizing the "Grey's Anatomy" writers and the "sexist" nature of her film "Knocked Up") Now I've got this moniker that I'm the foot-in-the-mouth gal, and I keep thinking, in what way? Because I said something you don't agree with? Because I said something you don't like? I'm just telling you my opinion. I hate the idea that I can't be honest about how I feel about things because it's going to piss somebody off who feels differently. That seems preposterous to me.
