    • In 2014, Katie won another Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host in her work on Katie.

    • On August 9, 2007, The New York Post's Page Six reported that Katie sang her heart out at a piano bar in Nantucket. Women's Wear Daily reports Katie was at The Summer House with her beau, Brooks Perlin, who picked up the tab, and a gaggle of friends. Long after Aerosmith's Steven Tyler had left, Couric sang the Neil Diamond classic "Sweet Caroline" and joined in as her group closed the place down with "America the Beautiful."
