Katie Finneran

In April 2010 Katie will star in Promises, Promises on Broadway with Kristin Chenoweth, Sean Hayes, Tony Goldwyn and Brooks Ashmanskas.

In the summer of 2008, Katie appeared in the Bay Street and Williamstown Theatre Festival productions of Beyond Therapy.

Katie resides in Los Angeles and New York.

Katie played a chain smoker on screen but has stated in interviews that she is not a smoker and it often makes her sick.

Katie is named after her mother and her brother is named after their father.

Katie wears contacts lenses.

Katie was so confident that Wonderfalls would get picked up for a second season, she left all of her belongings in Toronto in unmarked boxes. She challenged co-creator Todd Holland to do the same, but he didn't. The show was later canceled after four episodes.

Katie won the Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actress in a Broadway Play for her role as Brooke Ashton in a revival of Noises Off. She also won Broadway's 2002 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for the same role.

Katie attended Carnegie Mellon University for one year before leaving to study acting with Uta Hagen.
