When I found out that a girl who has never acted before was playing Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, I was a little weary. There where a lot of exprienced actress who could have played the part, why did the pick an unknown. In the series Cho is decribed as very pretty thought out the series, so of course they needed to get a girl who is very pretty. I saw a few pictures of her before I saw the movie and shes not pretty... shes beautiful.



So I see the movie and I have to admit she was great, she's very beautiful and she can also act. For someone whos never played in a movie before she sure did a good job as Cho Chang. Hopefully she will reprise the role in Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix.

ok, first of all, just because a girl satisfies the physical characteristics of Cho Chang (asian and of course, pretty) doesn't mean that you can just get it in a snap, especially with no acting experience whatsoever. cho chang had to be pretty, and i'm not saying that Katie is unfortunate looking, but she's not that pretty either. i know an actress named Heart Evangelista who auditioned for this part but obviously didn't get it. She is originally from San Francisco, or somewhere here in the Bay Area, but currently resides in the Philippines as a one of the best actresses in the industry. Not only talented, but this girl is so pretty! in fact, pretty doesn't even suit her. more like beautiful; that's how pure her beauty is. You can search for images of her on yahoo or google or wherever and you can judge her for herself. once again, her name is heart evangelista. when you see her pictures, i'm sure many people would agree with me.
