Keanu's girlfriend Jennifer was killed on April 2, 2001, when her Jeep Cherokee careered onto the wrong side of a Los Angeles road near Highway 101 and smashed into three parked cars. The force of the crash flipped the car over, she was thrown through the windshield and killed instantly.

Keanu bares an abdominal scar after crashing his motorcycle following a "demon ride". A "demon ride" is when the rider doesn't put on their headlights at night. Keanu suffered broken ribs and a ruptured spleen from the incident.
