Kelli Williams

During the second season of The Practice (1997), Kelli became pregnant with her first child. The pregnancy was not written into the show, and so the writers gave her character the job of re-decorating the law office... easily hiding her expanding belly behind tables and paintings. By the time the fifth season came around, Ms. Williams became pregnant once again, but this time Lindsay was newly married to senior partner Bobby and writers were able to fit it into the storyline. During the show's seventh season, Kelli became 'pregos' once again and, although her on-screen marriage was still on (but hanging by a thread), producers failed to make her character pregnant.

Kelli is married with Ajay Sahgal and has 3 children.

Kelli has been nominated for three SAG awards. From 1999-2001 she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for The Practice.

Williams is married to author Ajay Sahgal, and resultantly follows Hinduism.

Kelli looks up to her mother as her role model when it comes to acting. Her mother was a working actress once but not a famous one. She also admires Cate Blanchett.

If she could go back to college, Kelli would choose to take up Psychology. She took up an online psychology course when she was pregnant with her daughter.

Kelli has been a volunteer of the Young Storytellers Program, a foundation aimed at fostering literacy, self-expression, and self-esteem in elementary school children.

Kelli's TV debut was on a sitcom called Day By Day.

Kelli was neighbors with Johnny Carson, Sonny and Cher when she was a kid.

Kelli has joined the cast of Sisters in Law, a drama pilot for ABC's 2006/2007 season. She will be playing Pamela one of the lawyers at the firm.

She graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1988. While there, she was active in the school's performing arts department and starred in Romeo and Juliet.

On February 3, 2001, daughter Sarame Jane, was born weighing seven pounds twelve ounces. Sarame was her second child. She gave birth to her third child on July 11, 2003. She named his youngest son Ravi Lyndon Sahgal.

Kelli speaks French and Spanish.
