Kellie Martin is probably best known for her TV roles as Becca Thatcher in Life Goes On, Christy Huddleston in Christy, and Lucy Knight in ER. She won a 1993 Emmy nomination for her work on Life Goes On. Fans of made-for-TV movies should recognize Kellie from the many movies she made in the mid 1990s. The most popular of those movies was probably Death of a Cheerleader, a true story in which Kellie played a high school student who killed a fellow student (played by Tori Spelling). Most recently Kellie has made a series of Mystery Woman movies for Hallmark Channel. Kellie is a very likeable actress in virtually everything she does, but she has never had the break-out role that could make her a household name. Although she has developed her niche in TV movies, I hope she will make another attempt at a weekly series.

I mainly recognize Kellie from her role on ER playing Lucy Knight. It was a shame that Kellie's character was written out after on a season and half, but there again, it was Kellie's choice, and I did read that she struggled to play the role with her sister's medical crisis. Kellie did bring something new to the show. Humour, beauty and tremendous talent!
I have liked her in everything I have seen her in Life goes on, Christy, ER as Lucy she was great, I wish that she would not of died, that was A TV moment that I cried, I would of liked to seen more of the charecter, and would like to see more of Kellie
I love the characters that Kellie portrays in all of the airtime she gets. She plays each role with conviction and dedication. Convincing those who are watching that her character is true. She gets the more challanging roles on TV as the abused or offended which is a hard role to portray. She needs a break into screen acting so we can see more of her talent.
Most anyone who ever saw her protray med student Lucy Knight on ER for two season fell in love with Kellie Martin. She defined adorable dealing with patients and a tough Dr. Carter from the time she entered County General to when she was murdered during season 6. While she wasn't around for long, she made a major impression on the show. It's hard not to miss the wonderful Ms. Knight when watching ER now. And beyond County, she has done some other solid work. Just wonderful.
