Kelly: (on how her parents have only recently told her they're proud of her) You always look for your parents to say, 'Well done, you. You've really grown up.' It's kind of scary because it means I have a lot of responsibility now but it felt really good. It really meant a lot to me. It was emotional. We are a very close family. I think everyone seeks that approval from their mother and father. But then it gave me the fear - they have higher expectations of me now and I can't do anything bad.
Kelly: In public toilets you don't have to touch anything. A machine gives loo roll and makes birdie noises so you can't hear the person next door break wind. It spoils the fun.
Kelly: (being famous presents its own problems) It's so easy for me to fall back into depression. I think it comes with having money. I don't have to work. I could be sitting bored and depressed at home with a bag on my head.

Kelly: (on her family) They are the only people in the world who I can truly trust and rely on. Touring gets really lonely. I guess I have friends around me but when you're paying them can they ever really be true friends?
