Kelsey: (on her parents and their opinion of her acting) They were really supportive of what I really wanted to do. My mom always said that if you could make a living out of doing something that you really love, then you are truly blessed. And she really knew that I loved this, and she's been extremely supportive. And my dad has, as well. He said, "As long as you make good grades, you can do this." So, I made good grades in order to keep doing it, and I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for them.
Kelsey: (on her Pair of Kings character Mikayla) I cannot think of a better character to play. She is strong, but kind. She is super loyal to her father, the kings, the island and its people. I really like her adventurous nature and ability to kick butt!
Kelsey: (on middle school) I was a total like nerd perfectionist. I wanted to make sure that all my homework was done, that I checked it three times, and everything else. But at the same time I loved hanging out with my friends, so I really tried hard to kind of balance both.
Kelsey: (About her co-star) Lee was really one of the nicest people.
Kelsey (Referring to One Tree Hill and her agent): If it weren't for [Sheilah] believing in me, I wouldn't be here.
Kelsey (on her One Tree Hill role): You always think it might happen, but it usually doesn't. So to get it is just unreal.
