Ken was born in the province of Saskatchewan, but raised in British Columbia. His professional career began when he got a job as a stuntman on the film Superman III, but soon found success as both as stuntman and an actor. As an actor, he is best known for his roles in horror films such as Wrong Turn 2 and Freddy vs. Jason. He is the brother of Dave Kirzinger, who played for the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders from 1978 to 1986.
