- After winning a Golden Globe for Best Actress, Drama Series, for Felicity, she reportedly asked for a sizable raise and walked off the set when the network refused. Russell was receiving an estimated $20,000-$30,000 per episode - the same pay as her non-leading co-stars.

- Keri: I made a little bit of money on Felicity, but I was really the only one of my friends on the show who didn't buy a home and a really fancy car. I was able to move to New York, have an apartment, and not work for a year. I was a kid that year. I went out dancing. I didn't get to do any of that when I had to be at work at 5 in the morning. Now, as much as I don't regret my life, I value so much being at home for dinner with my family.
