Kevin Conway was born in New York City on May 29, 1942. He is an actor and director with an eclectic background in the realms of film, television and historical documentary. Conway was already 30 years old when started his acting career. His first major role was as Roland Weary in Slaughterhouse Five (a film based on the book by Kurt Vonnegut). Despite his late start as an actor, Conway was able to land work as a full-time actor with roles in a diverse array of films such as Funny Farm, Invincible and Thirteen Days. He also had many guest appearances in a variety of television shows like The Good Wife and the popular HBO series Oz. One of his most well-known accomplishments as a director is his work with the Civil War documentaries Gods and Generals and Gettysburg. Conway's ability to play a wide array of characters and roles quickly led to his well rounded career in the entertainment industry.
