For the role of Joshua from Dark Angel, Kevin spent about three hours in a make-up chair every morning and an hour and a half to take everything off. When Joshua was first being developed, Kevin spent days doing make-up test.
Kevin: (On weight training) Yeah, but 6-foot-6 me at 18, you saw a big head and this stringbean body, these massive hands and these massive feet, just trying to keep it all moving in one direction. And if I got out into the wind, I was in trouble. That's probably part of why I got a little bit obsessive.
Kevin: (On working with famous actors) It's always an honor to get to play with people who have been at it longer than you, who have been honing their skills...I take notes.
Kevin: (Best memory on a film set) In the middle of a scene opposite Russell Crowe in my first movie. I remember the director yelling cut, and feeling like I truly belonged there, looking at the small sea of people standing around the camera grinning like something really cool and special just went down. I knew then that I would be doing film for the rest of my life.
