For the role of Joshua from Dark Angel, Kevin spent about three hours in a make-up chair every morning and an hour and a half to take everything off. When Joshua was first being developed, Kevin spent days doing make-up test.

Kevin has participated in Celebrity Winterfest since 2005. Celebrity Winterfest supports Special Olympics Northern California with competition programs for children and adults with mental disabilities and year-round athletic-training.

Kevin appeared in the movie Mystery Alaska with Russell Crowe. After the movie Kevin became such good friends with Russell that he performed with Russell's band 30 Odd Foot Of Grunts on the album, Gaslight. The band also goes by The Ordinary Fear Of God. Both are known as TOFOG.
