Kevin James

Since I could hardly miss a show...

Kevin James is a more-than-superb actor who has been somewhere on the list of my favorites since his performance in Paul Blart: Mall Cop. However, I have seen a little bit of King of Queens, and I have enjoyed it. Plus, his role in Grown Ups with Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, David Spade, and Chris Rock was fantastic. He gets poked fun at for his size in most of his performances but he laughs it off and doesn't make it a problem. He's a really great dude, looking forward to seeing more of his work in the future.

I'll be the first to admit, I'm a sucker for Kevin James. It all began with The King of Queens (for me). My mom sat down to watch it one day and I had wanted to watch something else. About 20 minutes later, I was rolling on the floor laughing. It was at that moment that my crush on Kevin James began. From then on, it took off like a rocket. Between Chuck&Larry, Mall Cop, and many of his other wonderful works, I've come out of each one with a huge smile on my face. I call Kevin James "Hollywood's Zoloft". He really is. Watching him act makes everything seem better!

The King of Queens has always been a favorite show of mine. The main reason? Kevin James. The best analogy i can give is that he is like heffer from Rocco's Modern Life. Everybody likes a funny fat guy. Every time he says anything on the King of Queens it is always good. Recently Kevin has started doing movies. Two that stand out are Chuck and Larry and Hitch. Both movies are very good. Although in both movies he is co-star to a superstar. Will Smith in Hitch and Adam Sandler in Chuck and Larry. despite that James is still funny. he has really taken off. Making a name for himself on The King of Queens, Kevin has set his own stage for a bright future. Oh and by the way, he is a METS FAN! That is just a bonus but it is a good one.

Kevin was born Kevin George Knipfing on April 26, 1965 in Stony Brook, New York to Janet and Joseph Knipfing. He attended Cortland University where he played football. He started being a comedian and joined cousin and The King of Queens co-star Danny Valentine's comedy group. He had a role in Everybody Loves Raymond which gave him his own show The King of Queens. On June 19, 2004, he married actress Steffiana de la Cruz, they have two daughters: Sienna Marie born on September, 2005 and Shea Joelle born on June 14, 2004 in Los Angeles. I love him on The King of Queens and I hope to see come back on another show real soon.

Kevin was born April 26, 1965. He attended Cortland University where he played fullback on the football team while majoring in sports management. He realized after 3 years that this wasn't the path for him. After returning home he decided to go back home and to break up the monotony of the summer he joined a community theater. During a play in which he had a comedic role, he so enjoyed the crowd reaction, that he joined his brother's (comedian Gary Valentine) improv group. He began going to clubs with Gary and realized he, too, had the knack for comedy. He has performed standup up for about 11 years. It was on the comedy circuit that he met Ray Romano. While Ray was getting a big break with his own sitcom, Kevin was getting recognition on Star Search. After appearing on The Tonight Show, his big break came at the 1996 "Just for Laughs" Montreal Comedy Festival. Afterward he landed a recurring role on Ray's sitcom, "Everybody Loves Raymond". He has since received his own sitcom "The King of Queens". April 2000 - Kevin lives in an L.A. bachelor pad with his brother, Gary Valentine, who is also a stand-up comedian. Career started with a recurring role on "Everbody Loves Raymond" 1997-98 His big break came in 1996 when he won at the "Just for Laughs" Montreal Comedy Festival. In June 1999 and 2000, Kevin James hosted the Florida Sports Awards, the official sports award show for the state of Florida, in Jacksonville, Fla. This event raises funds for the Otis F. Smith Foundation.

he is just so funny i watch his show all the time becuz of him he iz terific on the show and my favorite frase from him is take a trip to shuty town he is trulya great comedian and thats why everything he does come to be great i would also like to see him star his own she and maybe out leah remini with him bucuz they make a great team or at least they can come out with a movie for the king of queens fan or something i luv watching if i have a bad day i turn the tv on and there he is and i cant stop laughing even when im suppose to be made i luv kevin james hope to see him on the small screan again on a show

Kevin James is the funniest guy out there. King of Queens is my favorite I never get tried of watching them. Kevin is just a funny. I hope he gets back on TV or gets into the moives. Him and Adam Sandler should make for a great and funny moive.

Well What Can I Say About Kevin James? He's Only The Most Funniest Guy Ever! I Love Him In 'The King Of Queens', He Plays Doug So Well And The Stuff He Says Is Just Down Right Hilarious. Every Character This Man Has Played Has Been Played Well, With Class And Most Importantly With Humour. Great Guy, Wish I Could Meet Him. Excellent Actor :D !

i love kevin james! hes definitely my favorite actor and comedian of ALL time! :) every movie that hes been in has been hilarious. King of Queens is amazingly funny, i couldnt think of a funnier show than that. its just real life situations, but with kevin james, he makes the situations hilarious. everytime i watch the show i crack up laughing like crazy! His stand up comedy: sweat the small stuff...is my ALL TIME FAVORITE! ive been looking everywhere to buy it but i cant seem to find it anywhere :(

I have watched and loved every single episode of The King of Queens and one of the main reasons is Kevin James. He deliever an excellent performance as Doug Heffernan. Not only is he fun to listen to, but his expressions and physicly act is just incredible and some of the funniest stuff I have ever seen. I love this show and the further you get into his character as Doug Heffernan, the more you get to know it and the more fun it gets. Amazing job by Kevin James!

And as if his character Doug Heffernan wasn't enough, he shows true actor-skills in the movie Hitch and I am pretty sure he will be just awesome in the upcoming movie I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry - what combo is better than Kevin James and Adam Sandler? I cannot wait to see Kevin James in yet another movie! Kevin James is a talented and all-time greatest comedian! Thumbs up!



The only negative thing about Doug Heffernan is he is a New York Jets fan and I am a New York Giants fan - but I can live with that!

Man, like stated Kevin James is an underrated actor and should be in a lot more shows and movies. His show, King of Queens, is one of if not the best show on TV. It was really funny seeing him dancing in "Hitch" and I am really looking forward to seeing him in other movies. Then seeing him in King of Queens everyday is really cool. He is also really awesome in that show, and I am really looking forward to next season. Also after watching his comedy skit on comedy central, I have to say that his is the best of them all. Kevin James For President ;)

I am a huge fan of Kevin James hit TV Show "King of Queens." And after I learned that the show was based on his comedy, I decided to check out his stand-up.



Hilarious. He is one of the funniest stand-up comics I've ever seen... He's a very good actor too. My only problem with him is that I'm not sure if he would be able to pull of a serious role. Because every time I see him, I intsantly go to a comedy mood.



One odd thing about Kevin James is that he's real-life friends with Ray Ramono, who is even more famous. But I don't see how out of the two of them Ray is more popular, because Kevin James is twice as funny.

Funniest guy i can think of. Well my top three. I don\'t know if he\'s actually funny in person, or just on his tv show. I guess i should watch an interview with him or something. But i really admire what he brings to the King of Queens. :D I loved the episode where he scared away all of Carries pontential new friends, one time by asking them to pet his belly hair. :P He is a very funny man on screen and i hope he is off screen as well. I hope King Of Queens has many more seasons to come because i really enjoy his role on the show.

He is one of the best actors of all times. The King of Queens shows that... Doug Heffernan in the most funniest carachter on TV. He totally deserves a new comedy after his current show gets cancelled. And he is kicking ass on the movie "Hitch". He is just great...

I found out about Kevin James through Ray Romano. James became one of my favorite comedians after Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Ray Romano. And I got to say that his show, The King of Queens, is absolutely funny and just as funny as Everybody Loves Raymond. TKOQ is a runner-up after ELR left. James is a great comedian that not only can tell good jokes but can actually act and do hilarious stunts and seems like a cool guy.

Personality. This is the one thing that is missing from actors today. But, not from Kevin James, and he proves this by playing 'Doug' on "The King of Queens."



Whether it's being the king of his own TV show, doing stand-up, or starring on the big screen, you can find James doing what he does best: being funny. On "The King of Queens," he acts real. His character (Doug) is 3-dimensional, and is loosely based on James himself.



James, himself, is 3-dimensional as well, proving this by playing Doug (a slightly overweight, fun loving husband who loves sports) on The King of Queens, and Albert in "Hitch," who is the geek that gets the girl.



You can still find Kevin doing what he does best, and enjoys doing the most: stand-up. He's never too busy to put a smile on people's faces, which is why I feel Kevin James is underrated and very talented.

Kevin James is hilarious in every appearance i see him in. His apperance on comedy central presents was priceless. He performed stand up in Kevin James: Sweat the small stuff, which was great he was soo funny all of his skits were amazing. I love his show King of Queens and although i did't enjoy the movie Hitch that much i do think he did a great job and had some funny parts in that movie as well. He is soo talented and deserves to be where he is.

This is a very good comic and actor. I love the \"King of Queens\". It is one of the funniest shows I have ever watched. Also, the movie \"Hitch\" was also amazingly funny. He is a very funny physical comedian but his material is also fantastic. I would like to see him keep doing \"King of Queens\" for a few more seasons and continue to do stand-up and maybe make a few more movies. I think he could be the next big funny man in the movies and have people doing movies with him continuously like Adam Sandler has people he continues to work with, as well as Will Ferrell and others.
