On February 22nd 2006, Mr. Nealon contributed a story to the New York Times about being wiretapped by Hollywood private investigator Anthony Pellicano, who has been indicted on racketeering and conspiracy charges. The article is mostly humorous and gives an exceptional insight to Kevin's comedy talents.

In the summer of 1986, Kevin's friend Dana Carvey was contacted by Saturday Night Live and eventually recruited as a cast member. He recommended Kevin, who was hired that same year as a writer and featured performer, making the move to full-time cast member in the 1987-88 season. The rest, as they say, is history.

As of 2006, Kevin is married and currently resides in the Los Angeles area.

In 1988, Kevin was nominated for an Emmy Award as part of the Saturday Night Live writing team.
