After seeing the positive effects of enrolling Stevie in soccer, Nancy makes a life-altering decision. Jill dabbles in extreme couponing, Andy falls into the arms of another woman, and Shane reaches the next level with Angela.

Andy becomes the new coach of the roller-derby team of Jill's daughters and Doug loses his job. Meanwhile, Nancy and Silas try to stop Shane who is seeking revenge on the one who shot Nancy.

As the gang rushes the gunshot victim to the hospital, Shane chases after the shooter. Andy and Jill connect in an inappropriate setting, and Doug and Nancy connect in an even more inappropriate manner. Silas discovers Shane has been attending a police academy, and finally, things take a turn for the dark when the shooter visits his victim in the hospital.

Peter and Jared to go all out to get a beverage executive as their next client but as usual bad luck is not far behind and could cost them this client as well as a possible promotion. Peter is smitten with a police officer.

As George's impending expiration date nears closer, he and Joy decide to marry. Elsewhere, Melanie and Victoria makeover Artie (Jon Lovitz), so that he feels more comfortable with women, and Elka's twin sister (Joan Rivers), with whom she has not spoken in 40 years, stops in for a visit.

Nancy and Silas try to fix their problem with their business competitor Emma, while Andy looks for revenge for his front-door business. Meanwhile, Shane faces the consequences of using Detective Ouellette's trust and Doug is forced to make sure the hedge fund keeps running.

While Silas has another run-in with his rivals from Pouncy House Party Rentals, Andy and Nancy try to stop Zoya from taking control of the bike shop and Doug faces the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reappearance of Zoya who used to share a cell with Nancy means trouble for Nancy. Meanwhile, Andy and Silas have disagreements about their venture and Shane's intership at the police turns out to be very informative for him.
