Khandi Alexander

Khandi attended Queensborough Community College.

Her name is pronounced "Candy."

Alexander took a sabbatical in 1990 to enter a drug rehab program.

She had a small acting role in the feature film "Streetwalkin'", in which she played a hooker named Star, and also danced in the early sequences of "A Chorus Line" (both 1985).

Khandi has danced on Broadway in the chorus of "Dreamgirls" and later was a member of the International Tour of "Dancin'", choreographed by Bob Fosse.

She had a recurring role on ER and a regular role on NewsRadio.
