We really thought she was a great actress. hide show

I was so disappointed when I say Close to Home the last episod of the season. I could not believe my eyes, they had killed her off kimberly elise. To the people that are not familiar with her real name. She plays Maureen Scofield. she was one of the main reasons I watched the show. I felt she was a great asset to the show. If I find out that there was a dispute in pay, and she left the show because of it.I will no longer be watch Close to Home in the new season.

I think Kimberly has the brains and the beauty to
Be a great star and breakout and hoping that she
Will bring much more to a bigger role as she is
In the supporting role in Close to Home as the boss
Who is married to her job but still has a heart of gold
Though she doesn't show it thatmuch at times

    Thrid Person hide show

I'm going to be the third person to use the 'Underrated' tag line to describe this actress.

She is divine, and has a talent so verstille with extrordinary ability.

I was deeply impressed by her when she stood in the likes of Denzel Washington in 'John Q' and still held her own talent towards his.

Kimberly Elise should be considered for more leading lady material. She is an awesome actress. hide show

Kimberly Elise is an underatted actress. Her work in "John Q." was awesome. She made me really feel her pain and also her reaction to her frustation in the whole situation. I think her reation was on point. I also loved her in "Set It Off." She was overshadowed by co-stars Vivica Fox, Queen Latifah, and Jada Pinkett Smith in the credits. I have heard more people talk about Queen Latifah's portrayal of a lesbian character and how realistic it was, however; for me Kimberly Elise's performance was really spectacular. Her performance in "Woman Thou Art Loosed" was great. We finally got a chance to see just how beautiful of a lady she is as well. She has a beauty that is inside and outside.

    Very versatile actress. hide show

Ms. Kimberly Elise has played a variety of charcters, yet she has failed to really receive any Hollywood recognition. I mean, the African American community has been giving her props for years. We've been fans since "Set it Off". Even Oprah said she was one of the best actresses out there right now. She has played opposite Denzel Washington, and Bishop T.D. Jakes. How many people can say that?
