Kirk Cameron

Kirk: In Fireproof, there is a romantic and touching scene where he (Kirk's character) kisses his wife. Because I have a commitment not to kiss any other woman, my wife Chelsea came in to the set and wore the dress my character's wife wore. We shot the scene in silhouette, so when I kiss my wife, I'm actually kissing my wife and honoring our marriage. It's a personal commitment I have made to my wife.

Kirk: I sometimes found myself more comfortable around my TV family than I did with my own parents and sisters.

Kirk: (on a TV show interview) The Hollywood lifestyle was just overwhelming. A party here, an interview there, magazine and modeling shoots daily, your face everywhere and girls throwing themselves at you. As great as it felt at the time, I still felt something missing, and that I needed to change.

Kirk (On creationism): To say that the banana happened by accident is even more unintelligent than to say that no one designed the Coca Cola can.

Kirk: (On his Christian faith) I was 17 years old. I was an atheist who became absolutely convinced that God does exist. He saved me from hell and offered me eternal life, and I couldn't ignore that.

Kirk: Think of someone you know who's not saved but you may be afraid to share the Gospel with that person. I've found a way that's radically effective in training people to share the Gospel.

Kirk: Put your nose into the Bible everyday. It is your spiritual food. And then share it. Make a vow not to be a lukewarm Christian.

Kirk: Our first priority is our kids.

Kirk: I'm not perfect in my walk but I want to do the right thing.

Kirk: I was experiencing all the success the entertainment industry has to offer, but I knew there had to be something more. It was sort of through that God prepared me to hear about His great plan.

Kirk: I could have anything I wanted and if I didn't have it, it was because I didn't want it.

Kirk: I came all this way for a reason. Today is the day of salvation. Trust Jesus to save you. Then be sincere as God knows a pretender.
