(About Robert Trujillo)
Kirk: I looked over at him during 'Battery', and he was just right in the pocket and in there. And then afterwards when he played it alone with his finger, it hadn't been played like that since Cliff.
Kirk: We wanted to offer something new to our audience. I hate it when bands stop taking chances.
Kirk: Stalking is the scariest part of what comes along with being in the situation that we're in.
Kirk: I didn't snort it, I just sniffed it.
Kirk: I love this 'wha' petal to death. In fact the only way you could keep me from playing one is by chopping my legs off!
Kirk: Just because you know umpteen billion scales, it doesn't mean you have to use them all in a solo.
Kirk: I know I can play a solo, the fans know I can.
Kirk: I dont think successhas changed us at all. We are still the same lunatics that we were when the band first got going. We never see ourselves as being on a higher level than our fans.
Kirk: There is no such thing as a wasted day.
