After graduating from Sterling High School in Sterling, Kansas, in 1997, Kristen went on to attend the University of Kansas from 1997 through 2001. She is the daughter of Scott and Lynne Bush. She graduated in Acting from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London in 2004.
