Kristen Wilson was born in Chelmsford Massachusetts in 1969. Originally she trained as a dancer, performing with the Boston Ballet and attending Syracuse University where she received a BFA in musical theatre; during this time she was cast as Anita in a national tour of "West Side Story." Afterwards she moved to New York where she received several small film roles and was a character on "Another World" before landing the role of Robin Givens in HBO's production of "Tyson." She has worked on fifteen other films and several television shows. Currently she is a recurring guest star on "The
… More District" and this summer she is filming the movie "Walking Tall" which stars The Rock. She is married to special effects makeup artist Martin Astles and has two children.
