Kyle Brandt's hometown is Lincolnshire, Illinois. He attended Adlai Stevenson high-school, where he lettered in football, basketball, and track and field. He was the captain of both the football and the track team, and named an Illinois state scholar. He attended Princeton University where he played running back for the football team, the Princeton Tigers, and majored in English. He is 6'0, and in 1999, was a fit 205 lbs. In 1998, he became the first player to ever carry a football in Princeton Stadium when he returned the opening kick-off of the first game against Cornell.



… More Kyle was a starting tailback for Princeton between the years 1997-2000, finishing his career ranked 15th on the school's all-time rushing chart. He rushed for 1,277 yards and scored 11 touchdowns over his four years with the Tigers, and was also the first player to post a 100-yard outing in Princeton Stadium.

Kyle is the son of Robert Brandt, an advertising executive who attended Notre Dame, and Georgia Goldberg, who works in the film industry and is a graduate of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He has an older sister named Ashley, an Indiana graduate, a younger half-sister named Casey Goldberg, and a younger half-brother named Austin Goldberg.

Kyle was well-liked on The Real World by his co-stars, and still makes public appearances connected to his time on the show.

Kyle is also well known for playing Phillip Kiriakis on Days of our Lives for a number of years.

    Kyle Brandt was a great addition to days of our lives and he is gorgeous! hide show

    I must say that Kyle Brandt played a wonderful Phillip. He is way gorgeous, and I actually graduated from the same high school he did. The funny thing is that I think I saw him about three years ago at a local mall. He is a great actor and I wish him luck in the future! It is unfortunate that he decided to leave the show, because I do think that he is the best looking character on the show currently. I wish that I can meet him in person one day, and who knows maybe someday I can meet him in the mean streets of Lincolnshire!
