  • I really liked you when you were on Neighbours because I thought you had a cute nobby nose.

I am a big fan of yours. I have watched and taped every episode with you as Libby Kennedy in Neighbours from 1994-2003.

I am living in a residential house because I have Aspergers Syndrome, which means I get stuck on magpies, I have been watching Neighbours with family and friends.

I would like to meet you for a cake and a hot chocolate one day.
  • Kym Valentine is amazing!!!

Kym Valentine is probably best known for her role of Elizabeth Grace Kennedy aka Libby in Neighbours, the character she played for 10 years. It is rather unusual for a young actor or actress to stay in a role for so long, and many of Neighbours viewers grew up with Libby (& Kym). They shared in her crushes, relationships and of course her on/off loves with Darren Stark & Drew Kirk. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Libby agreed to marry Drew and viewers were devastated when a motorcycle crash left Libby coping with the news that she may not be able to have children, however after on of the most beautiful weddings in Neighbours history, Drew, Libby and the viewers were overjoyed when it was discovered that Libby was pregnant. However, when Libby went into labour whilst locked in a barn, her family and the viewers were left hanging, waiting to see if she would live due to complications after the birth.
Libby, however, survived but Drew died less than a year later leaving Libby devastated and struggling to move on. Libby however became a stronger character and even more amazing and two years after Drew's death, viewers were delighted to see Libby be reunited with her first love Darren Stark. Kym Valentine is an amazing actress and her talent has made Libby Kennedy an fantastic character, and one of the best in Neighbours history, her work with on-screen parents Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan (Jackie Woodburne) is always of the highest standard and their technique of 'ad libby overlappy' makes their relationship seem much more realistic.
