Lacey Chabert

Lacey: (On her first kiss) I didn't know what to do. So my sisters told me to, like, practice on a pillow, you know? But it didn't kiss me back so I didn't know what to expect. But it was good practice I guess.

Lacey: Do what you're passionate about.

Lacey: I like to take pictures of lots of things: people-such as my nephews, my dogs, and just interesting objects that I see. For instance, I might take a picture of flowers by the side of the road, an old sign or a fence.

Lacey: I've always been interested in taking pictures. I've enjoyed taking classes in photography, and I'm building a darkroom in my home.

Lacey: Guys have always told me that it's sexier to leave a little to your imagination.

Lacey: (on a guy impressing her) The true test is if he's willing to go shopping with me. Will you go shopping, and will you hold the purse while I'm looking around and trying stuff on? He should be interactive and make comments, too, rather than reiterating how bored he is.

Lacey: (on one of her vices) I'm really bad about not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign.

Lacey: I can't say that any two people want the same career. I don't want to be a 'teen star' because so many people don't ever grow out of that.

Lacey: I just think girls become so wrapped up in superficial issues that don't really matter, such as hair and make up and clothes and cars, all the things that are represented in the movie [Mean Girls]. And while those things can be fun and interesting, it's just that I think girls need to be taught and encouraged that other creative qualities are more important. Finding who you are creatively as a person, and what your interests are, are definitely more important.

Lacey: I like to get together with my sisters and my nephews, and I try not to travel on weekends so that I can spend time with friends and family.

Lacey (about her role in "Mean Girls"): I didn't go to high school. I was tutored on the set, but amongst my friends, I was somewhat like Gretchen, kind of insecure and trying to figure out who I was, and feeling a little isolated, especially because I was just kind of different than other teenagers because of what I do. There were a lot of things in the script where I was like, "Wow, I can't believe that happened." I'm so thankful I wasn't in high school.
