LaDainian Tomlinson is one of the most dominant and complete running backs football fans have ever seen. After an impressive college career at Texas Christian University, Tomlinson was involved in one of the biggest draft-day trades in NFL history. LaDainian, the fifth overall pick, and quarterback Drew Brees were traded by the Atlanta Falcons to the San Diego Chargers for the top pick in the 2001 draft, quarterback Michael Vick. Since then, all three have become top players in the NFL, especially Tomlinson.
Tomlinson already has eighty career touchdowns after just five years in the league. His agility and catching ability have him compared to many of the NFL's all-time greatest running backs like Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, and Marshall Faulk. Still just 27 and in the prime of his career, LaDainian is already a lock for the NFL Hall of Fame.
