What to watch on Thursday, September 1.
Lake Bell got lucky getting the role of Laura Daughtery in Surface. Lake appeared in other shows before like Miss Match and Boston Legal. But her role in Surface is the one that stands out. Dr. Daughtery is a main character that's not weak, she's strong, independent and pivotal to the storyline of the show. Lake plays her so well, she makes convincing faces that's so important in sci fi shows that involves creatures that don't appear in the real world. Lake is really suited for the role, the role becomes her on screen, and her acting seemlessly moves the plot without looking silly.
she is great on the show surface, and I only hope we get the chance to see her as Laura again, she did it just right the line between obesion, and the drive for knowledge, and knew in her heart she ahd found something, it will be a real shame if we don't get a chance to see her complete this role
I had the privelege of being Lake's stage combat teacher at Rose Bruford College in London. Lake was an exceptional student of stage combat and she she gave 100% of herself in every class. She was particularly skilled in Rapier & Dagger fighting and I look forward to the day when she receives a role worthy of her fighting talents. I have enjoyed her performances in 'Boston Legal' and 'Surface' out here in Australia where I now live. The same high level of commitment, drive and attention to detail which characterised her stage combat classes are evident in these episodes. They are absolutely entertaining first class pieces of television.

I just found, I was searching random found some history all coincidence. about not Lake but Laura Bell - London, Dublin, Irish.
Intrigue, Castles, Mystery, Scandal, xDublin 1847 she was the model for a famous portrait named "The Nun" by Millais.
This history is so arresting you can not keep yourself from discovering this girl from Glenavy, Glenavy was a bailiff on the Irish Estates of the Marquis of Hertford.

She danced and the town she arrested dance with her rare flair for showmanship and love of life
Lake Bell is who I see here as Laura Bell . Should a Script writer willingly read and enjoy even this one page of her history and explore the more creative of his or her own nature casting the one and only person to star this role beacon to. Lake her-self reincarnated "Lake Bell" ^ "Laura Bell" .
She would feel the comfort of the natural role and superstar to nova.. no doubt..

As I sit down and religiously watch my new favorite show, I still am unable to tell if this girl is hot. Her body is freaking smokin' and the wonderful scene with her swimming around in her underwear (they could have been the same color) was just fantastic.
But, then you look at this chippie in pictures and shes a mess. I want to declare that this hottie has a "butter-face", if you look carefully she has a striking resemblence to the little seamonster that the kid (that seriously need a haircut) is protecting. Hopefully they will continue this season with her in the least amount of clothing.
