Lauralee first appeared on The Young and the Restless as an extra with no lines at the age of 9. At 13, she had her first speaking part on the soap. She was made a full time cast member her senior year in high school.
Laauralee's high school diploma is from The Latin School of Chicago. She graduated in 1987.
Lauralee is co-owner of a boutique named, On Beverly Blvd.

In 2005, Lauralee Bell appeared in the feature film Carpool Guy directed by actor Corbin Bernsen (LA Law, Psych). He is the son of her Young and the Restless costar Jeanne Cooper.
Lauralee has two older brothers--Bill Jr. and Bradley.

Before her marriage, Lauralee was romantically linked to Michael Damien (a Young and the Restless costar), Scott Baio, and Troy Aikman.
Lauralee met her husband when she was only 14-years old. She wrote in their high school yearbook, "I'll be hoping for a wedding ring soon." They became engaged when she was 28.
Lauralee's husband, Scott Martin, is a professional photographer.

I can control a good performance. But I can't control whether a customer will come into the store.
Lauralee: My dad is the one who thinks up all the sex [on Y&R], so he has to be pretty open-minded.
Lauralee: We would have our dinners [on] tray tables every night and watch television. It was just a huge part of our life.
