Lauren was born in Nevada and was raised in Los Angeles. She attended the University of Southern California and majored in History. She studied theatre at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Lauren starred on the daytime drama "Sunset Beach" and had a recurring role on "Port Charles".

Lauren has also had roles on several television shows including "Alien Nation", "Quantum Leap" and L.A. Law".

Lauren joined the cast of "The Young and the Restless" in 2000 when she was cast as Brittany Hodges.

    lauren woodland is one of my favorite actresses because of her sunny smile and just the way she carries herself i'd like to see more of this warm and wonderful person hide show

    lauren from what i know about her she is a very good actress
    and as a person she's very friendly and a real public relations kind of woman she has a very nice body and style and i'd love to see more of her as a model she loves being in the picture and being photografed
