Laurence Fox

Laurence Fox is excellent in the Inspector Lewis series on PBS. I thought I would prefer Kevin Whately in the Inspector Lewis role, but Sgt. Hathaway's (Fox) intelligence and dry wit won me over. He's really a delight.



Poor Insp. Lewis, he has to deal with another Oxford educated and cultured partner! Hathaway is a nice addition; he can't replace Morse, but he pulls his own weight--plus he's not as snobby!



I'm glad to hear there will be another series of episodes in the near future. The series is very enjoyable, with clever scripts and terrific acting.



(I didn't know that Fox is married to Billie Piper).
