The first time Leah ever performed in front of an audience was in elementary school. She sang "Think Of Me" from the play Phantom Of The Opera.
Some of the research Leah did for her role as a Playboy Bunny came from author Kathryn Leigh Scott's book "The Bunny Years".
Leah's Playboy Club character Alice, was to be depicted as a stereotypical lesbian. Co-star Amber Heard, who is a lesbian, came to the directors and gave ideas on how to improve the character.
Leah released only one single from her album Storybook, which was titled Ibf (Imaginary Boyfriend). It never broke in the Top 100 during it's run.
Leah's first concert was Black Sabbath. Other musical influences were Mariah Carey, Brandy, Sheryl Crow and Shania Twain.

Leah : Music is my therapy for everything for any inspiration and everything I'm going through. I always write songs based on what I feel.
Leah : (on her family) My dad and younger brother are both into motorcycle culture, they both have Harley Davidsons and they can get lost for days on a bike trip. My dad has tattoos and hair longer than mine and he's always stealing my shampoo. My mom, who now works as a customs broker, and I do everything together and I really miss her.
Leah: (on the original Playboy Bunnies) was pleasantly surprised to find that a lot of these women were very strong and very intelligent, and they were working at these clubs and saving a lot of money to put themselves through school.
Leah: (on her Playboy Club character Alice) There's definitely two sides to Alice. In the club she's very sweet and even more girly than everyone. When she's home with her husband she speaks a little deeper and she's a lot stronger.
Leah : All of us have had an imaginary boyfriend at one point in our lives. We've focused on celebrities or have had a crush on someone else who's unattainable. But it doesn't stop us from daydreaming.
Leah: (on her cd, Storybook) The songs are about my personal experiences but everyone will be able to relate to them. For example, the song 'Disappointing' is about my having met someone that I thought was my Prince Charming but later found out that he wasn't.
