Lee Pace is my role model. I think he is an excellent actor and seems to be very humble about himself. I like that he is so humble because you don't come across many actors like that. I liked him best as Ned on Pushing Daisies. I've seen him in The Fall and Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. I think he has played all his roles wonderfully. I hope to seem him in Possession when it comes out also. I would also like to see him perform on Broadway. All-in-all Lee Pace seems like a wonderful actor.
i ve only seen lee play in 2 series and one movie: pushing daisies, wonderfalls and miss pettigrew lives for a day and i ve been amazed. i couldn t see a similarity betweeen the characters, he is able to take a person and be it. his countenance and expresions are completly different in all 3 characters. i don t know how he does it. i hope he will have luck in his career and i really wish he won t go into action movies because romance, comedies and drama is his stuff. peace and a hope i ll see you soon in some good movies/series out.
I'm very excited for the success of Pushing Daisies as I loved Lee in Wonderfalls and was very sad to see the he and the show go off the air. Lee is great at selling the emotion and importance of a scene without out a lot of movement and over acting. That being said he has great comic timing and hysterical facial expressions to make the Pie maker one of the funniest characters on TV. Lee is great to watch and I hope that he continues to surprise and wow me on Pushing Daisies for a long time to come.
I am thrilled that he got an Emmy nomination. I have been aware of Lee for the last few years. I saw Soldier's Girl, in which he convincingly played a transsexual performer. Lee and his co-star Troy Garity both blew me away with their talent and compassion. Lee has played a killer in Infamous, the bio-pic about Truman Capote. Even while playing a homicidal rapist, Lee made his character believable and sympathetic. I highly recommend both of those movies, but my favorite character that Lee Pace has portrayed has got to be Ned on "Pushing Daisies." It is truly a unique show filled with characters that make me want to watch week after week. Missing "Pushing Daisies" was one of the main reasons I was so depressed by the writers' strike. Ned, the baker, is refreshingly romantic and sublimely sweet. Lee is beautiful and talented. He chooses to play diverse, interesting characters. His voice is so rich and languid I want to swim in it. He is definitely one of my favorites and one to watch in the future.
I have never heard of Lee Pace until Pushing Daises arrived as the piemaker, loner, lovestruck Ned who brings people to life with one touch but two touches will leave them dead forever. Pace I think has a lot of promise and potential as he has gotten nominated for a Golden Globe as best actor in a comedy. Can't wait to see much, much, more from this actor. Even if Pushing Daisies ended, but I hope that it won't go anywhere nowhere anytime soon. But he is kind of reminds me of an young Edward Norton. Great actor that is good at comedy, drama, etc.
