Lee Ryan

Ever since he was a child he has had dyslexia and ADD.

Elton John has remained a close mentor to Lee during his move to solo artist.

His mother brought him up alone in a tough London neighbourhood.

Lee is now a labelmate to Natalie Imbruglia at Brightside Recordings, the label run by the A&R man that discovered and signed Blue, Hugh Goldsmith.

Having written some of Blue's key material – one of Blue's biggest International hits, "Breathe Easy", was one of Lee's contributions – songwriting is still a big a part of Lee's focus.

"How Do I", was released on Ryan's website in the form of a video directed by Ryan himself to thank his fans for their support.

In January 2006, Ryan released his third and final single in the UK "When I Think of You". The song Reached #15 in the UK.

While in BLUE, Ryan recorded "Stand Up As People" for the War Child album.

He worked with video director Cameron Casey and co-directed the video for his hit "Breathe Easy".

He took a film directing course at Tisch School of the Arts in New York.

He was among one of the artists that sang "Come Together Now" in aid of Hurricane Katrina victims.

He is good friends with Sir Elton John.

He has a small part in the UK version of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. He played Elk's dad.
