Biography:

Leo Burmester was an actor who was born on February 1, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky. He passed away on June 28, 2007, in New York City. Leo appeared in films, on television and on Broadway during his career. He also produced concerts for the environmental cause "Save The Lakes" to protect New York's water supply. For the victims of Hurricane Katrina, Frank produced the "Calm The Storm" benefit. Frank is known for his roles in the 1988 film "The Last Temptation of Christ," the 1989 film "The Abyss," the 1993 film "A Perfect World" and the 1997 film "The Devil's Advocate." Frank also appeared in the 1992 film "Passion Fish," the 1995 film "The Neon Bible," the 1997 film "Switchback" and the 1999 film "Getting to Know You." His television appearances include the series "Flo" from 1980 to 1981, the television movie "Precious Blood" in 1982, the television mini-series "George Washington" in 1984, the series "Arresting Behavior" in 1992 and the series "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" in 2002.
