Leo Gordon

Called by director Don Seigel "the scariest man I have ever met", Leo Gordon rose from serving time in San Quentin prison for armed robbery to being one of Hollywood's most dependable talents. He started out playing some the toughest of screen heavies ever and went on to become both a nuanced actor and a polished screenwriter - most notably writing the screenplay for the Arthur Hiller WW2 drama Tobruk (1967), as well as several teleplays for Maverick (where he also had a recurring role as good guy "Big Mike McComb").
